Product Description

Features a die cast aluminum [TT_Table] top with ABS molded legs. This [TT_Table] provides 339 sq. in. of workspace. The directional angled grooves on the surface help guide the work piece.

Table has a clear anti-friction coating to prevent scratching the work piece. The On/Off power switch with dual receptacles adds extra safety to your job. There is an adjustable Miter Gauge for cross grain routing. The ABS molded legs feature a quick clamp foot boss. Includes a multi-functional fence with a dust collection port, a Jointer fence and a vertical push shoe.

    I love this router table December 27, 2008

    I have two of these router tables. I make custom cabinets for a living. These little table are not as nice as the industrial tables and shapers that you pay megga bucks for but do a sufficient duty for what you need them for. I make all of my Cabinet doors and trim on them. Neither table is bowed in the center. I did not have any problems putting them together. They are excellent for small jobs. The trick is using a really good router with this table. I paid the $119.00 for each of my router tables. I am getting ready to buy another.

    Table Saw Extension - NOT! May 16, 2008

    After reading the reviews on the Router Table, I bought it because several individuals indicated it worked well as an extension to their Table Saw table. WELL, It is only 24" wide and mine (like most Table Saw tables) is 27". So I'll have to waste my time coming up with a modification - Would have also been helpful if Sears would have given the actual Table dimensions instead of the Total Square inches. Have yet to assemble it , although I have ususally been pleased with Craftsman quality and attention to detail. Probably good as a stand alone Table, but that's NOT why I bought it.

    I bought this a year ago and have not used it alot.It was missing center rings and now it is wotrh nothing to me because i can not use my jigs because I can't mount the bushing in the top.I tried to get info online but they tell me this router table is not in the system so no parts available. I also own a Ridgid router and it wont mount to the table.Had craftsman router mounted but burnt up quick. All in all I am very disappointed with this and would not buy anymore craftsman tools because the support you get is terriable

    This is a great first router table. It has a lot of great features for $79.99 or $119.00. Even at the regular price you get features not available at that price point. Pro's 1. Aluminum cast table top with routing grooves. 2. 2.5 dust exhaust port (hook up to a shop vac reduced ducst routing) 3. Mitre gauge, vertical push shoe. 4. Accomodates the craftsman router line. You will need to check with other brands of router. You might need to create or buy a base plate for another brand of router that will work with this table. 5. Adjustable fence with Micro Adjustment. The micro adjustment feature is not available on a lot of high end table from name brands. It is a welcome and necessary feature. 6. Safety shield over the router bit. 7. On/off switch with lock Con's 1. The assembly could be stream lined. There were a lot of different size nuts and bolts. Sears - this is an opportunitiy to re-engineer the design. A simpler design would be more elegant. 2. Compatibility with other brands of routers seems to be an issue. If you can remove your other router's base plate and pickup a universal plate you should be covered. 3. it lacks a vertical adjustment for the router above the table. But I only see this feature on the very high end tables. 4. Great for small boards, larger board will need extension tables for support of the workpiece. All in All it is a durable, feature packed table for a great price.

    I PAID 79.00 FOR THIS ON SALE AND IT CAME WITH A SMALL SET OF ROUTER BITS. THE TABLE WAS PROBABLY A LITTLE BIT MORE DIFFICULT TO PUT TOGETHER THAN IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN. BUT AS OPPOSED TO SOME OF THE OTHER REVIEWERS THE TABLE HAS SERVED ME WELL. I'VE MADE MANY PIECES OF TRIM AND MOULDING AND THE EDGE JOINTER FEATURE ON THE FENCE IS SOMETHING I'VE ONLY SEEN IN HIGHER PRICED AND CUSTOM MADE TABLES. MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT IS THAT THE SWITCH/RECEPTACLES SITS A BIT LOOSE ON THE TABLE FRONT. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A TABLE FOR A SMALL SHOP TO MAKE MOULDINGS AND DO SOME EDGE JOINTING THIS TABLE IS MORE THAN ADEQUATE. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR MORE YOU ARE PROBABLY BETTER OFF MAKING YOUR OWN CUSTOM TABLE.
