    Craftsman Garage Door Remote is Easy to Program and Works Great January 27, 2011

    We bought a house and the previous owners did not leave any remotes for the garage door openers. NOTE: There are a few different types, so you need to check your opener at home and see what color the "learn" button is (located on the inside, near where the light bulb is placed) to see which one will be compatible. We did not know there were different kinds and had to return home, before buying. It was very easy to program, and I'm glad the battery is included so you can use it right away without having to buy anything else. It has been working great ever since. It is also nice that it has multiple buttons so that one remote can be programed to open both garage doors.

    Not Worth The Money September 10, 2009

    Went through two additional remotes in three years at $80 for the both of them, Only paid $99 for the whole garage door opener with the original remote included. Sears quality is lousy, should buy a Genie that can use universal remotes that cost less.

    We have an opener in each car and have not had a problem with any in the few years we have had them. This does operate our Craftsman 1/2 hp opener and I have been very pleased with our purchase.
