Works great, long reach in small areas.
I use them in the molding shop. They work great to pull runners out between a 3 plate system. No putting hands in danger.

Innovative design- WHY MADE IN CHINA?
Wandering thru Sears tools area I spy a set of Crescent long reach pliers! 24.99 !
The day before I was telling my neighbors that the reason I occasionally buy HF tools is that they have tools not made in US, I purchased them immedaitely and take them home.
While removing from the friccin blister pac. I notice - on the back panel... Made in China.
So an American brand charges 4 times for a extra joint in a nicely colored set of pliers and I fell for it.... I shredded the blister pac and still have the very smoothly functioning Chineese made Crescent pliers.
What are we left with Craftsman, Snap-on, Klein and Matco as American made tools???

i bought these on a whim. they were on sale, and i thought, "well, occasionally i do need a longer needle nose". when changing the cooling hoses on our mazda, these extended reach pliers got to a couple clamps where nothing else could, and saved the day. that alone more than paid for them

Came to the rescue
I was changing spark plugs in my 2007 Toyota Corolla. When I screwed the plugs out my socket wouldn't pull them up out of the spark plug chamber. the plug chamber is about 6" deep. I couldn't reach them with a regular pair of needle nose pliers. But the Crescent with the extra long reach reached down and grabbed the plugs like they were made for the occasion.
