    Finally a 14 cup coffee maker and no drips from the carafe!! October 06, 2009

    Just purchased last week - although the one we purchased in the store has a slightly different appearance- so far we are very pleased.  Finally we have a 14 cup machine which will save me and my husband from having to make a partial 2nd pot of coffee.  Seems easy to use and the coffee tastes great.  Love this no drip carafe.  We had a Mr. Coffee machine previously and had to use many paper towels everyday to wipe up the spills from the carafe no matter how careful we tried to be.

    Decent coffee makers, but watch those charcoal filters June 12, 2010

    I loved having those extra 2 cups of coffee available, and the 4 hour auto-off keeps it hot till I can finish off the pot.  The carafe does drip if you try to pour too fast, especially when full.  They make good coffee, extremely fast when new, but they accumulate sediment fast; I've gone through 4 different machines in 9 years, despite frequent cleanings.

    Biggest problem I had lately with Cuisinart is the charcoal filters.  In a 5 month period two of them burst, clogging the water lines with charcoal. I had to take it apart to flush the lines.  That wasn't easy & the last attempt killed the machine.

      We settled for a different brand about a year ago. Big mistake. This is the one we wanted in the beginning and should have waited. The water filter is a nice plus. The manual is easy to read and well written. After only 5 Minutes we had it set up to brew daily at 5 AM. Standard clock setting is a breeze.

         The stainless steel front and sides are very attractive with any kitchen design, and easy to keep clean. Bigger 14 cup capacity is a real plus for our family of coffee drinkers. The carafe is easy to handle and the drip-proof spout is actually drip- proof, unlike many other brands. We have used Cuisinart products for many years and they always live up to their name. To top it all off we got it at a $20.00 savings from Sears!  I recommend this coffee maker for aanyone looking for a great product as a very good price!

    This coffee pot is excellent.  I love the larger capacity and the coffee taste excellent.  It keeps the coffee nice and hot as well.  I previously had a 12-cup Cuisinart and liked the coffee taste so when it was time for a new pot, we decided to go with Cuisinart again.  I was delighted to find they made a pot with a larger capacity.  The overall look of this coffee maker is also very nice.
