    We bought a Delonghi Magnifica Expresso Maker earlier this year.  It worked fine for about 4-months, and then it had to be sent to Delonghi for repair under warranty.  It has been in the repair shop for 3-months now, and no one can provide us a date when we will get our unit back.  I have call Delonghi 3 times directly, they are very polite on the phone and say that someone will call back later that day with a status update...but no one ever calls back.  If you want to spend $700+ dollars on a Delonghi for 4-months of service, I recommend this unit.  It you want to buy an expresso maker from a company that actually services it products, I highly recommend you buy from any other manufacturer..
