    Great battery for the price April 05, 2011

    I know that Lithium Ion batteries are the way to go these days, but at 30 bucks for a 19.2 volt NiCad you just have to get it. These are so cheap you can buy a few and use all your tools in this set without having to charge often. The really nice thing about the C3 series is that about 25 tools all use the same battery. That is why for 30$ you just cannot beat being able to keep on working. If you buy about 3 or 4 of these, you are set to powerhouse through the entire day. The only thing is cutting will drain the battery faster than drilling. However that is why you always have a quick 45 minute charger on hand as well as spare batteries. I have had no down time with my 3 batteries working through a full day.

    Deceptive... We cannot find a charger for this battery pack January 04, 2011

    When we visited Sears to look for a buffer for my father-in-law, I purchased the buffer and this battery pack. Little did I know there was no battery charger in stock and available for purchase (even though the sales person told us we had purchased everything we needed). So now I'm left with the buffer, the battery and nothing to charge the battery. The tool is effectively useless. My advice is to make sure your Sears store has a charger for this battery available before considering this purchase.

    I have had the original battery for 5 or so years. This is a good battery and great to have when you are doing a big job and need to keep going. It charges quickly and gives all the power necessary.

    bought a 19.2 volt drill/flashlight kit 2 batteries & charger in a canvas bag @ sears. The battery (the only one i used) lasted less than a year. the other was bad out of the box so i returned it for a new one. charged it, used it til depleted then put it away til my next project. when i put it on the charger it came up dead, so now i am stuck with 2 batteries, maybe 5 hours use on BOTH and neither work. Sears is NOT standing behind this product. I have been a sears customer for 40+ years; no more, i've had it with this companies terrible customer service.

    This battery is good. however, I have bought a pair and didn't charge it often--I charged them both for 4 hours when I got busy and they died at the same time. I replaced them and they don't hold power. I now charge them every two weeks if I am not using them. I revisit in a few months to see if the latest pair continue to hold a charge.
