    Lasted 99 Months. I'm happy. October 04, 2011

    My battery needs replacing in 2011 for a 2000 GMC truck. Funny thing. In 2003 I bought a Sears Diehard Gold...and it lasted 99 months. Has a 100 month warranty. They offered $1.68.

    From my perspective it has been a good batterty and obviously if I had a new truck in 2000 and replaced the battery in 2003..itr is a heck of a lot better than what the manufacturer put in.

    The battery has been acting funny...so maybe it only lasted 95 months..all in all been good.

    I live in Florida.,..and the truck has not seen much Northern Exposure.

    The battery does still run but is is like 11.7 instead of 13 without the alternator..and being a girl I don't understand much about that either...

    Good battery, very poor install service February 15, 2011

    Old battery was totally dead, needed jump to start car. Bought new Die-Hard battery on-line with install and saved 10% over in-store price (nice and easy). Took on-line receipt into Ann Arbor store and this is where things started to go down hill. Even though they were not very busy, guy said they needed almost 2 hours to install battery. Not in a real rush, so went to nearby restaurant for lunch. Came back to pick up car, guy said I owed 90 cents more tax (something about tax on the old core). Seemed odd, but wasn't worth arguing about. He gave me my keys back and I went out to the car. Opened the door, there was snow allover the floor, water and grease spots on the seats and door handle, and grease on the steering wheel. Walked back and complained, guy came out with some rags and dusted out the snow, wiped off seat, door handle and steering wheel (still felt greasy though). Conclusion: while the batter may be good (have had it only a month so really hard to judge) the install service is very poor - no real concern for their customer's car.

    I am purchasing another diehard battery today. This battery has satisfied my needs for three decades. The car dealer told me that I needed one today. I told them that I was going to Sears. Thanks for the service.

    The die hard gold is the only battery that I have used for the last 30 years and would not use any other battery. When I was looking for part time work I know that sears was the place for me because I use all of sears products in my home for the last 30 years and so did my mother and father and their mother and father before me . I know that sears is like coming home and am proud to be a sears employee and love helping people everyday and they always share their stories of how long they have been loyal to sears and so have all their relatives and family members.

    I have been using Diehard Car batteries for over 40 years...The batteries have always lasted longer then other batteries and were more reliable...Now its the only battery I recommend to my family and friends...
