As Good as They Get!
The Sear's Platinum series (Absorbed Glass Mat) batteries are some of the best you'll find anywhere (consumer & commercial.) I have heard that they're essentially relabels from a major (extremely well respected) manufacturer of AGM batteries for the military etc. I know the name but I am reluctant to share it in this review, you might say that the company is somewhat of an odessy (lol). IMO, the Platinum is far better in construction and performance than some other well marketed brands that state they are optima (lol) in performance etc. In short, you just won't find a better battery for the performance/ price-point.(PERIOD!)
BTW I own two Platinum batteries, one for my vehicle and another for electronic equipment.

Die Hard batteries are garbage and their customer service stinks
I purchased about a dozen die hard batteries for several vehicles and applications spanning the years from 2002 to 2007. None of them are operational today, and none of them lasted for more than 3 years. The most recent pair is why I am calling it quits with them. They die every other winter, I spend more time than its worth locating my reciept, getting the batteries charged up and tested, having to go back twice cause the testing takes 40 min per battery, waiting 15 minutes to get help from their understaffed department. The customer service is terrible.
They know full well when I purchased the batteries, but I am required to show a reciept to get help. At Autozone I am in their system and they are happy to take care of any problem that arises. And their batteries work.

Rebadged Odyssey AGM battery for $100 less per battery. These are the best for heavy duty and diesel applications.

WHAT A BUMMER!
I bought one these Diehard Platinum batteries for my 350Z about 2 years ago and I am about to call the breakdown service for the 3rd time in almost 12 months.When I told the dude at Sears who sold it to me that I drove the car only about once week he assured me that a regular kicking over of the motor particularly in the cooler weather would stop the battery from going flat.I paid a couple of hundred bucks for what the blurbs online said was the ants pants of batteries.I am extremely disappointed and have just emailed the manufacturer to see if they stand by their warranty.
