    Hi all, I bought the die hard plug in 140 watt dc to ac power inverter because it was on sale for less than $20.00 and it so happens that we had a power outage due to storm. I plugged it in car lighter and ran extension cord into house and plugged in lamp and we played games at table until power came back on. About 4 hours passed and power was restored and inverter did not over heat , nor did battery on car run down! I like this product, worth the money even if not on sale!     God  Bless............,Dice

    This little guy is SO much better than the cheapo ones, of which I've blown out several. It has a fan, so it doesn't overhead. It has overload protection, so it won't fry your gadgets. And it has a built-in USB jack for charging iPods, iPhones, BlackBerries, and other gadgets... no adapter needed! Until they build power outlets right into cars... there's this thing. It's awesome.

    I got it to use with my laptop on the road and nothing else. So far has worked well and at $20 was the cheapest alternative out there. Plus did I say it is small enought to fit in my laptop bag. I think the second reviewer got a bad unit (take it back) and as for the fourth, duck tape it.
