    For the price, it's good enough. July 12, 2010

    I wanted something that would work on both hard floors and carpet and this does the trick. No more broom and dustpan for the tile floors and dog hair vacuums up off the carpeted stairs in a jiffy. I am happy with its performance and was surprised at how quiet it is. I love that it is cordless, especially when it comes to doing stairs.

    This machine is easy to use with buttons placed conveniently.  The hand held piece comes out easily and It's easy to take apart to empty.  My complaint is that it fills up so fast that I have to empty it frequently. The crevice cleaner is great at getting hard to reach places and the machine is powerful enough to actually suck stuff up out of those places. 

    I would recommend this vacuum, keeping in mind that it makes a good suppliment to your other cleaning supplies.  I would not consider this to be my "main vacuum," the heavy duty upright, which cannot do the stairs, hard floors, car interiors or under the beds.

    waste of money February 01, 2008

    I purchased this vac. and within 2 weeks the motor started making a high pitched sound after a minute or so of vacuuming. This is the LOUDEST vacuume that I have ever owned, even before the high noise. I was seriously concerned about my childrens (and my own) hearing. It did suck up crumbs off of my hardwood floors, but the handle broke off and I thankfully tossed it yesterday. If you decide to get this, get ear plugs too!

    Cons:
    powerless,bad suction

    This was a waste of money just because I'm used to really powerful vacuums.  I have a Panasonic that I use in another home and when I got this one, it felt like a toy.  It felt like something a little kid could play with.  There was hardly any power and the suction is very poor.  I have a throw rug and it won't pick up pieces of grass or tiny specks of dirt and dust.  I have to use the attachment in order to pick up anything and even after I use that, the vacuum head still won't pick up anything visible on the floor.

    I have to use the attachment for everything, from vacuuming the area rug to  vacuuming the hard wood floor.  I wish it came with a better vacuum head or more power.  I think the problem is there just isn't enough power.

    Piercingly loud motor; exhausted blows air out harder than what it sucks up; dirt cup fills fast and the dirtier the filter gets the weaker the suction. This vacuum is just a mess and a waste of money.
