Not a good buy
This is cheaply made with plastic wheels but I could tolerate that. However this isn't worth buying. Get a 12" bike and drop the seat. This 10" bike is as hard if not harder for your little one to reach the peddles. The bike has no chain and so the peddles are on the front tire. I should have paid better attention as the picture is accurate. If you are trying to help a small child ride a bike this isn't going to do. Again, get a 12" and drop the seat. You'll get more time out of it and not have to wait for your child to grow only in the legs. I'm off to find a 10" with a chain or I'm giving my baby the 12" we own and moving everyone up in bike size. Disappointed with this design and still it's not well made.

No brakes, pedals far out of reach, no what expected
We bought this for my 4 yr old for her birthday. Expecting a 10 inch bike (she is short) that she could ride outside whereever. Well, it wasn't until we put it together that we saw it says "no brakes"! What? How can she ride it outside on hills? And the wheels seem plastic/cheap. Plus the pedals are far out so she has to reach really far and can't pedal around. We will be taking this back this weekend.

Cute bike but size is misleading
I bought this for my two year old granddaughter to ride when she is at my house. I had tried her on a 12" bike and she reached the pedals fine so I thought a 10" bike would be perfect, especially for the price! WRONG...This is not set up like a regular bike. There is no chain and the pedals are on the front wheel, making it about 2+" out of my granddaughters reach. Unfortunately this was discovered on Christmas morning and she tried everything she could think of to make it work but it just didn't. I will be returning this bike and looking for a 12" which has the pedals directly below the seat so she can reach them. This is set up more like a trike than a bicycle. Very cute though!

save your money buy a 12" bike
my daughter got this for her 3rd birthday, as a present. if it hadn't been assembled I would have returned it- its so chinzy. she has an easier time riding her sisters' huffy rocket 12" than this- the pedals are easier for her to reach and they are only $40. this one has no brakes (not good if your driveway slopes down to the street). I have been trying to sell it on craigslist and everyone says its "too small", that they need a 12"... which is probably true, since my daughter can ride the 12" easier than this.

Cheap, dissapointment
My 3 year old received this as a gift at end of summer 2011 and it was great for the month she rode it last year. It was stored safetly in basement over winter then brought out this spring and the front half with the wheel and handle bars is very very loose but the cheap plastic bearing makes it so you can not tighten it. Try telling a 3yr old she can not ride bikes witheveryone else because her new bike is busted. Thanks for the weekend meltdown cheap bike! she is a little girl and not rough so no way was it her body or her actions that ruined this bike so fast.
