Connecting the side and shelve frames took ten minutes as advertised. The individual shelve middle braces took another ten minutes. The instructions didn't mention or show these but it wasn't difficult to figure out how to install them. The particle board shelves themselves needed to be trimmed to properly fit in the rails. Very poor in that respect. The unit itself is great and I will purchase more of these in spite of the additional work that is necessary. Sears should look into this with the manufacturer.

A nice storage unit for a basement, garage, or shop storage area. Metal work is heavy duty. Shelves are composite board -- making them weak link in the shelf unit. This shelf material makes it important to distribute weight across the shelves to avoid breaking or warping the individual shelves. I would have rated the unit 5 stars had the end members been perfectly square. The slight out-of-square added a bit more effort to the assembly process in order to get the shelves to fit squarely in the rails.

Great strong and strudy storage rack that's easy to assemble.

Very well made units. Good and easy assembly. Once assembly was complete I feel they are as strong as a commerical pallett rack. Nice textured painted finish on all parts execept the actual shelving material. Sears by far had the BEST PRICE on these units, I shopped around alot.

The measurements for the box the item comes in are 75"L x 25"W x 8"H and it weighs in @ 200lbs. Some might find this useful if picking it up at the local store. I'm not a big guy, 5'8" 180 lbs but as able to get the box out of the pickup truck by myself. Just slide one end to the ground, dropped the other end, then dragged it into the garage using the banding on the box. Assembly is straight forward, all you really need is a rubber mallet. As mentioned the included instructions are worthless. I needed to use a pry bar to "massage" one shelf into place. I did it by myself in about 15 min's. This puppy will hold a lot of weight which is good as I had a mix of heavy and light items to store. The bottom of the frames have holes in place in case you want to bolt the rack to the floor. All in all I'm happy with my purchase. I had been looking around for something like this for quite awhile. Industrial Shelving usually costs a pretty penny. This item is worth the price.

Goes together easily when cross beams are positioned correctly. Cross beams should have offset facing upward. Instructions leave a great deal to be desired, i.e. they stink. Particle board shelving may need some trimming to fit in beams correctly. Sturdy and functional once assembled. Large rubber mallet is helpful for seating beams in uprights.

I'd buy them again! Super easy to assemble and incredibly strong

Sears had a really good sale on these shelves, but up here in Montana, they are an special order only item. As tough as the shelves are, I had to order four to get one that wasn't damaged in shipping. I finally gave up on a goal of having two units after two separate orders arrived damaged, leaving me with only one serviceable shelf unit. The tops of the end frame piece gets crushed in transit somehow. If you order them, make sure you check the contents before bringing them home. Otherwise, these are great shelves and they go together very easily. Get a rubber mallet for sure.

This storage rack is very easy to assemble, it only takes around 10 minutes. The rack itself is very durable, and holds all of our holiday boxes and other garage storage items. The unit is not very deep, so it does not take up too much room. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great garage storage option.
