This is a great stove! The black ceramic top is easy to clean (far better than the stainless steel one I previously owned). 5 burners is a plus. Best of all, the oven temp is right on, and all baked goods come out perfectly. The easy glide oven rack is great. I love this stove and highly recommend it!!!

I've had my range for 2 months now, and I can't believe how much it has changed the way I cook. The one thing I didn't think I would use very much, turned out to be the one I use the most! With 5 kids to cook for, and always at different times, the warmer drawer has made my life sooooo much easier! I can now cook once and have a hot meal for all my kids no matter what time they get in from practice! The convection oven is wonderful. I've never been able to roast chicken or beef with any precision until now. Both dishes come out beautiful and perfect everytime. I love the cooktop because I can slide the pans from one side to the other without lifting them. The simmer burner is great for sauces, and the large burner heats a big pot of water in around 3 minutes. My friends walk into my kitchen now and say "Wow!". This range is practical, but also very nice to look at.

Ok,

The Electrolux EI30GF55GS is a very nice stainless steel FRONT PANEL[only] range with a black porcelain top and BLACK side panels.  This is important to now if it's going to be on the end of your counter space.

Unlike the other models that include features such as "Perfect Turkey," and such, this version of the stove is basically just a REALLY nice range with controls that are not quite "space age" like the higher end models.  Frankly, they look great and it really doesn't detract from anything unless you are buying all Electrolux appliances and want them to look the same.  [This range has the "IQ control set," which means the icons for the various control options are visable at all times.  On the other models, they only light up and are visable when you are attempting to use the control panel, and fade to black otherwise.]

Another nice feature is the ability to remove the oven door should you need to clean the oven for any reason, though with 3 cleaning options I'm wondering why you would?

However, you should do yourself a favor and open all of the windows in your house the first time your bake anything. Turn on BOTH ovens to their maximum temperature [550F / 190F].  The new appliance smell needs to burn off, or your house will smell really bad the first time you use it.  Run it for 1 hour...

We also purchased an extended 5 year warranty on this item as Sears has one of the best warranties you can get.  We had previously purchased a Jenn Aire slide in range for another house, and had nothing but problems with it and the customer service.  Using Sears for this negates having to deal with the manufacturer should a problem occur out of warranty.

There is only one issue with this item, and that issue is:  Having Sears deliver it on time.  While I rated the stove quite highly, it took Sears 3 separate attempts to final deliver it, as they did not have one.  In fact, they don't even stock them!  These stoves are delivered "just in time," which means, in our case, that every time we were given a delivery date it was actually an esitmate... and the stove wasn't in stock.

Sears DID try to make this up to us by giving us the extended warranty (which we'd already purchased), and then giving us gift cards to try to make up for it.  So, all in all, it does appear that things worked out.  Even if we where unable to cook in our house for 3 weeks because they were two weeks late delivering the stove.  Consider scheduling it for a weekend delivery so that you don't miss a day of work when they don't show up with your stove!
