your donations, doing good

Veteran Willie James Parham Sr. continues to serve his Nashville community through his lawn mowing business. Thanks to volunteers with Heroes at Home and Rebuilding Together, he’s now able to work—and live—more comfortably and securely.

This South Chicago apartment complex was donated as housing for homeless veterans—but it was in need of some serious love. Sears and Rebuilding Together helped clear debris, install new appliances and refurbish the building, giving veterans like Tabitha a new way forward.

Sears Holdings Management Corporation established its Heroes at Home program to provide support to military service members, veterans and their families through joint efforts with various non-profit organizations. Operation Homefront’s mission is to build strong, stable, and secure military families so they can thrive — not simply struggle to get by — in the communities they have worked so hard to protect. If you make a donation between October 8, 2017 and November 18, 2017, 100% of your donation will go to Operation Homefront, a 501(c)3 organization. Your entire donation to Operation Homefront is eligible for tax deduction treatment for U.S. federal tax purposes. For more information on Operation Homefront, visit www.operationhomefront.org.
