      What is a Steam Mop?

A steam mop can be handled like a traditional mop, but it uses steam technology to clean multiple surfaces like wood, tile and carpet. A steam mop doesn't require bleach or detergent either, because the heat generated from the hot steam disinfects floors. Often, a microfiber pad is placed underneath the steam jet and is subsequently moistened to pick up dirt and other small particles.

      Benefits of a steam mop

      • Maintains floors post-vacuuming for a shiny, waxed look on hard surfaces
      • Cleans tile, grout, shower door and track, wire pet cages, appliance exteriors, countertop, sinks and taps
      • Prepares outdoor space for use by sanitizing patio door track and patio furniture
