Power Wheels  Power Wheels Lightning McQueen Super 6

Gave this to my 3 yr old son for Christmas. He absolutely loves it, but that

was no surprise. He's already a big LMcQ fan. Figured out how to drive it after

miniute or two as his big sister has the Cadillac Escalade. "My car is really

fast Daddy". Can't wait to mod it with a 12V once he masters it, then it really

will be fast. Only complaint is the stickers, if they're not going to take the time

to put them on better than leave them for me to do. Lots of air bubbles but

spent some time with a pin to pop them and worked most of them out.

My son has been asking for a Lightening McQueen car for over a year. I was reluctant to buy one because it's only 1 seat and I saw it in other toy stores as having only 1 speed, but eventually gave in when I saw Sears had it on sale. Not only was it on sale, but the description on the Sears.com website listed the car as having 2 speeds (2.5 and 5 mph). I was very excited to get the car & give it to my son.

Unfortunately when I picked up my item at the store & brought it home, upon opening the box the car only had 1 speed (3.5 mph). I was extremely disappointed with this discovery. I immediately called the Sears.com Customer Service. They took care of the situation and I was somewhat pleased with the outcome.

So, lesson is, if the Sears.com website is still showing the Disney Power Wheels Lightening McQueen ride on toy as having 2 speeds (2.5 & 5 mph) and you get the item home & it has 1 speed, be prepared to let them know the description on the website is inaccurate.

My son loves the car but the battery life is only about 15-20 minutes (at the most) on the grass. On the driveway it does last a bit longer but not much. It only has a 6 volt battery. We have to charge it everyday. If you plan on driving the car on your lawn I would recommend another vehicle...maybe one with a 12-volt battery! ...and the stickers on the tires and car are already peeling and we only had the car for a few weeks.

My son got his 4 christmas we even got an extra battery so that the fun doesn't end. The1st thing ha did was get dressed so that he could go outside & ride it. He has had it for 4mths now & its still good as new. He is well in the works 2 become'n the next big race car driver.

First off I want to thank Brenda at the Sears store that helped make this gift possible. You are truely one of Santa's little helpers. This car is very well made. Tough and rugged. My grandson has only had it since Christmas morning, but trust me he has drove it hard. The pure excitement in his eyes when the garage door opened to his "go-go". He is 3yrs old and has no problem at all driving it around. The only little thing I would change would be to make the wheels turn just a bit more. It does make wide turns, which I understand is to prevent from tipping but I think just a bit sharper would make a big difference. Over all very pleased with the product and the Sears team for helping Santa get it here on time. And the parts that had to be put on, took about 30mins to do. I would have no problem in buying this product again if the need arises.

This is the best toy. My son love it so much he take it everywhere we go such as park, school, and to grandma's house.

My wife and I bought Lightning McQueen for her 5 y. old niece and from day one she was alrady an accomplised race car driver. A little assembly here and there at the beginning and she was off and running. She is very smart and focused behind the wheel that we just like to sit back and watch her go until the battery dies down to where we have to tow her back home. Very fun for the money, well worth it.
