Decoys & Game Calls
Bring the target within range with game calls
When you're immobile in a tree or duck blind, you've got to bring game close enough for a shot. Game calls from Sears are the answer. Wildgame Innovations, Flextone and Down N Dirty bird calls mimic the various calls made by turkeys during hunting season. Waterfowl calls from Sean Mann and Haydel's Game Calls are built with quality materials and produce very lifelike sounds. More affordable wildfowl calls from Flambeau come in models for geese, mallards and wood ducks. We carry mechanical game calls for deer, elk and coyotes. If you prefer the digital accuracy of an electronic call, the Foxpro Wildfire caller comes with 35 calls, and you can add your own to reach the 200-call capacity. It's battery-operated and is equipped with an adjustable-volume speaker.
Concealing yourself while drawing in game can be done with one of the camouflage hunting blinds available at Sears. Single-person ground blinds are available as chair blinds, duck blinds and laydown blinds. Our brands include BigFoot, Ameristep and Gorilla Gear. Larger ground blinds from Shooters Ridge and Primos Hunting are suitable for two hunters and their gear. If you intend to build a raised platform for your blind and make it permanent, the Snap Lock Formex and Little Cottage Hexagon hunting blinds feature solid panels that can be quickly assembled in the field with a minimum number of tools.
When you have success in the field, the next step is to get your meat processed for the freezer. You can do it yourself and save money with game processing equipment. Sets contain a bone saw, meat cleaver and a variety of knives for boning and cutting meat. They are available from Ruko, Weston and Meyerco, and some include cutting boards and plastic gloves for convenience. You'll learn how to use your game processing equipment by viewing the four-DVD Outdoor Edge Advanced Game Processing series.
The best way to bring deer and elk close to your blind is with scents made from natural products. Code Blue, Hunters Specialties and Wildlife Research produce scents made from the estrus and urine of does and elk cows. They can be poured or sprayed on the ground to attract bucks to the hunting zone. Another way to bring in bucks is to produce a mock scrape with scents from Tinks made with buck urine. The scrape will attract dominate deer looking to drive others from the territory, but they won't know that you'll be waiting.
Hunting gear from Sears will bring in the game animals while you stay hidden. That combination is reason to keep your game processing equipment sharp and ready. Gain the advantage in the field with hunting tools and accessories from Sears.
