Fluke  115 Multimeter

This meter is a GREAT meter for field use, and will take abuse like a Fluke should. I originally wanted a 179 multimeter but I found those too high in price, so when I compared the functions I opted for a 115. This meter can do it. With frequency reading capable from the probes in place in test I can do a lot more with this unit. The voltage limits are far above what I require, and almost all jobs for a homeowner or a technician dealing with residential testing (HVAC, electrical, home entertainment.) Even automotive troubleshooting is easier with this meter with DC measurements. This meter can do it all.

i bought a craftsman professional grade multimeter a year ago and its a good meter but too much knob and adjustment to turn..i ended up using it for my home garage auto repair and i bought this fluke multimeter and it is absoultely amazing.it self adjusts the range..life time warranty on the product, at least thats what i have heard..the fluke is the best multimeter out there. it is not cheap but if u are using it to make money, it will make your job easier..

its just better than what i expected.

I'm not an electrician, but consider myself very handy around home wiring and electronics. After owning and using several types and brands of analog & digital multimeters, I've had my disappointment's over the past 30 years. From poor designs, useless features and unreliable readings to hard to read displays, shorted controls and general fair construction, I seemed to have a lot of trouble trusting multimeters!

However, having experienced quality Pro Multimeter products from my work environment, I was always impressed with the Fluke brand. Accurate, durable, and hosting usable feature sets, I could only fault their asking price...too high to justify my simpler homeowner needs.

My Fluke 115 Field service Tech Multimeter has just the feature sets I need and wanted for around the home...East-To See large crystal clear white LED backlight readout screen, Min\Max\Average  memory data points, Cat III 600 Volt safety rating, High Quality test leads and a Very Durable holster case and stand!

For me, this should be my final multimeter purchase...A Great Performing Product at a Great Price!  

This is an excellent multimeter!!!  I purchased this meter mainly because it has the min/max feature.  It is very durable and performs very well with day to day use.  This is the first meter that I have owned with a backlight and it is a must have feature (I can't see how I worked without it!!!)
