    This is the first new oven I have had. My old gas over was so obsolete. This one operates quietly & efficiently. The oven door does not get hot enough to burn you if you accidently touch it or brush against it. This oven also cooks evenly. I am completely satisfied with it.

    Poorly built May 17, 2011

    I liked the features of this unit when shopping in the fall of 2008.

    It came in with the broiler not working (but I usually don't use it). I waited a long time before calling service but it was still under warranty.

    The broiler part had to be ordered. When the serviceman came to fix the broiler we found out the automatic door lock for the self-cleaning feature also didn't work. The serviceman disassembled the unit and reported that it was not fixable. His boss sent him back (the third time) to completely disassemble the unit, which he did. He then had to again report that the unit was not assembled properly from the factory and I didn't want him to start re-drilling holes to reposition parts as it is then not factory original.

    After it was disassembled twice, some screws were stripped and I wasn't at all happy.

    Also, the nuts and bolts worked loose that were holding on the lower drawer and one fell off.

    Frigidaire (Electrolux) finally settled for 60% "buy-back" since it was under warranty when the problems were reported but it was much later when we settled (not completely their fault - I should have settled immediately).

    The first time I cleaned the oven, the cleaning cycle stopped midway through the cycle--door lock would not disengage and oven control panel went out. Technician was not able to unlock oven door to service. This oven is less than 1 year old.

    There is a bar at the top of the oven that looks like it doesn't belong. This bar is to deflect heat away from your cabinets. It is very fragile and wont stay on when wiping down the oven. Very bad design. I haven't seen this on any other oven.
