    Just like someone else who has purchased this item, i am too disapointed in the water level and wash performance of this unit. Talking direct to customer support, they told me the new design on the lower water height was to help save on water. this unit is supposed to be 3 cu/ft, well with less water its more like 2 cu/ft. three pairs of jeans, 2 sweatshirts and 3 t-shirts, without water filling up more the clothes stay on top and do not aggitate. bypass the water level manualy and add 2" more water and the unit washes fine. Would recommend unit only if you like doing small loads, buy one with a dual aggitator and one that fills up with water.

    Had a Frigidaire Gallery unit just like this- it lived 10 years, then the dryer died, so we decided to replace with new model. The water now cycles beween warm and cold when machine is set on "hot" wash temp. Water is never hot; barely warm infact. This may be due to new energy saving regulations or specs?Also, the new washer doesn't fill up to the top, even on "super capacity"-only fills to 4" from the top-seems like wasted space-older model filled right to top and truly did wash a large load. Also, new one is extremely noisy on wash cycle. Lastly, the dryer sounds (thumps)like it has a sneaker in it, even tried running it without clothes in it- it thumps all by itself, so will have to call Sears back....not sure about this purchase. Called Frigidaire directly and had the Frigidaire recommended service person come out, and he basically implied they just don't make them like they used to. Great. I Like the stackable size-very convenient, and very powerful spin, just disappointed with the water level and sound issues.
