Frigidaire  3.3 cu. ft. Front-Load Washer - White  ENERGY STAR®

I purchased this item because it was rated as a Consumer Report ********. It's a "no frills" machine so it lacks some of the more sophisticated cycles on more costly machines but according to CR, these cycles are rarely used by consumers anyway. These machines SIP water and are very energy efficient. I built my own pedestal out of 3/4 inch plywood and 2x6's , tall enough for a laundry basket to slide under. Much better than spending $250 for a pedestal that's not even tall enough for a bottle of detergent. I've only had it a week so I will repost in six months.

Bought this machine 2 weeks ago to replace a 10 year old GE front load stackable. The wash cycle takes much longer. The options are limited by the cycle you choose and it doesn't spin the water out very well. Glad that I was at least able to get a little money back because the price dropped.

this is a very nice washer, is quite, fast running. It would be better on the stand but feel the price is too high on the stand. I would recomend this washer.

I bought this washing machine 3 years ago. It is now officially dead, but I've spent the last year and a half dealing with a "door lock" issue. It will refuse to run because the door lock doesn't function properly. I have to trick it into working. Now, the door lock is actually broken and it won't run at all anymore. I expect products that I buy to last, this doesn't!

This is an amzing washer! SOOO quiet and uses very little water. And our clothes have never been cleaner!!

I have only had this product for about two weeks but I haven't experienced any problems with it.  My clothes are not loaded with soap.  I don't dry my work clothes so I hang them.  They are softer than they were before.

I replaced my old front loader with this washer and i have no complaints. I like the improvements they have made on it. It runs very quite and has no vibration at all on it. I very much like this producet i was surprised how big the tub was. it is great for us can hold a king quilt no problem i am happy with it and would highly recommend this machine to anyone.

I have had my Affinity for about 6 weeks and have done probably 80 loads of laundry and not a single problem. The clothes are very clean when they come out. I use less detergent than with my old top load washer. I cannot put as many items in per load, but the loads take half the time of my old washer. We couldn't afford to get one of the bigger washers. Some might think the spin is a little noisy, but my house is always noisyand I don't notice.

The 17 yr old maytag washer died just before Thanksgiving.  I was ready to upgrade.

We got a fantastic deal on cyber Monday. Normally I'll shop something to death but this was such a deal I told them I didn't even want to look at another machine.. just wrap 'em up. We got both the washer and dryer.

We've had the units for a month how. The washer does a great job using a fraction of the water - you don't even see a water level thru the door. The clothes come out clean- I believe I'm seeing whiter whites now. The unit is well able to handle my puffy queen comforter with room to spare- no hauling it to town every time it needs to be washed.    I have to believe the clothes are being washed in a more gentle fashion and should last longer. My old washer seemed to give quite a beating.  The new one is quiet. I read comments saying it sounded like a jet engine taking off during spin- not so.  The high speed spin gets more water out so less drying time/ less power used.  With the dryness sensors my clothes are coming out dry- not baked.  I skipped the pedestals because I've seen nicer home made ones for a fraction of the price. I'm happy with mine just sitting on the floor. I saw an open house with the units under a counter which is what I'd like to eventually do.  I have no trouble hearing the finish beeps from my living room with the tv on.    I'm aware of the front loaders having odor issues.. I make certain to dry the pocket that forms the center of the door gasket every time I'm finished with the wash and also dry off the doors window on the inside. I always use the clip to keep the door ajar when not in use.  There is no dancing or banging when the unit spins (or any other time for that matter). I occassionally had to sit on my old maytag during spin cycle.  The washer holds more than my old one so I'm doing less loads overall... again saving electricity.  We are a 2 person household but this machine is big enough to handle larger households.   Sears delivered and installed the units the day after I bought them.  No complaints at all with that either.     I can't find one negative to say regarding the unit. I'll update the review if any problems arise. Until then consider me very happy with this purchase.

Having had the unit 4 months now it has performed flawlessly. I worried at first it would be more difficult getting the clothes out of the washer as it's a front load and I didn't get the pedestal. I find it's actually easier since I'm short and it was hard to reach the bottom of the old top-loader. I've been using the new machine almost non-stop... washing things I wouldn't put in the old agitator model such as throw pillows etc. It's also nice not getting the laundry out all twisted up like the old model did.

I loved my old frigidaire front load washer, and it lasted way longer than it should have, so I had no doubts when ordering my new Affinity.  Better yet, it was on sale! It arrived two days later via an amazing delivery team - like the commandos of delivery men!  They were in, took the old washer out, installed the new one, then were gone...after sweeping up!  Amazing!  I'll shop again with Sears just for that amazing service!    ...and my new machine?  Oh it's just dreamy!  Ok, anything would probably impress me after the year long death throes of my previous machine (which was shaking so much it would dance across the room and had to be restrained with a cinder block! Yet... it kept on washing!)  However, it's not just relief which is making me like this machine.  The new design of the front door with the huge window, the ease of programming with the little buttons, the quiet wash, the quiet spin, the CLEANNESS of my clothes!  The excellent extra choice (which really does get more water out!)  Wonderful...and the thing is an energy saver!  I could not ask for more.
