I have had this for almost a year and it has worked great. I live near the beach and it has kept the house dry and comfortable. I have found that it is easy to empty and has a hose hook-up for times that I am away for an extended time. Highly recommend.

I got this dehumidifier for a fairly large bedroom and it works perfectly and does exactly what I wanted...dehumidifies and takes airborne particles out of the air! It can fill up the tank in two days, and that's exactly what I wanted, because I hate humidity with a passion! It doesn't seem to drain on the electricity either, since I've seen no real increase to speak of and use it almost constantly. It says not to keep it on the continuous setting unless you have it drained, however, I leave it on the continuous setting without the drain, and it just stops when the tank is full...no fuss, no muss, no problem. One thing I really like about it is the washable filter, since it washes great and drys fast. I only have to wash it about every two weeks, but I suppose that would depend on the environment. The tank, or collection container, has a little red ball (much like a coffee maker) that let's you see how full the tank is, plus it is easy to remove and empty, since it is positioned in the front. The nicest perks is that you can move this dehumidifier around, since it has wheels and a handle at the top to aid you in moving it. (Note that thicker pile carpet may make moving less easy than wood, tile or low pile carpets) It also has a handle on the tank, so it is very easy to carry it and empty it.

I purchased this dehumidifier for a standard sized bedroom, approximately 21 x 20 square foot, and I am exceedingly happy with it. It definitely draws the moisture out of the air! I am a person that hates any level of humidity, so I can definitely tell when the least amount of moisture is present. I also really like the filter, since it is easily washed, so no need for purchases of filters on a regular basis. The wheels and handle at the top are a plus too. In a deep pile rug, of course, it will not roll easily, but with a low pile, it rolls fairly well. Of course, on hardwood or linoleum, it would be no problem. Another thing that is nice is that it does not heat up the room as badly as some I have used before. Now, it does heat up some, but it doesn't cook you. Although it says that the continuous setting is only if you have it setup to drain outside, I set it on continuous and forget about it. It never overflows! When the bucket is full, it stops and the little red light comes on, and I empty the tank. No fuss, no muss, no moisture in the air! For people that don't mind moisture in the air as much as I do, setting it on any level will allow it to cycle out the moisture to the point you want it. When the moisture in the room increases, it turns itself back on, so it would work for any level of moisture you are comfortable with. Now, it is not the quietest in the world, but in my opinion, no louder than the standard air conditioner. For me, it's great, since I like white noise when I sleep (neighbors with barking dogs!). Bottom line is if you want a dehumidifier for a bedroom or small room, you can't beat this one. 

This dehumidifier is in my crawlspace and works awesome. The fan is loud but its in a crawlspace so I dont care. The fan moves a ton of air and the water is always in the bucket so I know it working. I wish the bucket was bigger but thats a small thing.  there is a lot of space so I have an additional fan to move air around and to pull moist air to the dehumidifier.
