    Poor Picture Quality,Battery Door Compartment Opens

    I purchased this camera for a trip, mainly because it was waterproof. Upon receiving this and taking some pictures, I was extremely disappointed. This camera took some of the worst pictures I've seen, especially indoors and in low-light. Even with the aid of the flash, the pictures came out dark. The battery compartment door seems flimsy, and would sometimes popped open when I tried to close it...I would be extremely nervous to even take it snorkeling, in fear that the battery door would open and water would enter the camera compartment. In addition, the XP30 also has a short battery life. This camera is supposed to be able to go anywhere and do anything, but its battery doesn't keep pace with this concept. Save your money, and buy a different camera that's more durable and has better picture quality, as well as the waterproof capability (Olympus Tough TG-610 or TG-810).
