GE  24'' 1.8 cu. ft. Countertop Microwave Oven

Bought this microwave through Sears and added the built-in looking trim kit to go with it. We were restricted by the size of our built in opening and our choices were very limited. However, I am very glad that I bought this model because it not only looks great, it is very roomy, and it does everything I need!. The veggie sensor is super and I appreciate how easy it is to operate the various cooking options. We hired a handyman to install and replace our previous 20 yr old GE Microwave. Our guy looked at the instructions and had it in under 30 minutes.

We are replacing a GE Profile Model which gave up suddenly after 12 years. This was the model with the exact dimensions that fit where the older model and 27" trim was installed when we bought our house new. We did online research to find a product with the same dimensions as the old GE Profile Microwave.

This was the builder's choice for this home and has been working great. Easy to keep clean, looks very nice.

We were very pleased that this microwave is very similar to our older one that we were replacing. The buttons are similar and the size was exact as we were replacing it in a built in cabinet. Some newer features are very nice.

This microwave looks great in our kitchen, we built it into our cabinets and have been very happy with it's performance. Would recommend.

When we moved into a new house we needed to replace the built in microwave we left behind. It is easy to use and easy to clean, works well for our family. It looks great and fits beautifully into our kitchen. My not so gentle teens use it with out issue.

This unit worked for 4 months, called GE they sent someone out. They replaced the unit and repair tech told me they have been having a lot of problems with this unit. Now it has been 14 months unit quit working again. Called GE told me my warranty was up. I explained this is the second unit. Are they only made to last a year. She asked if there was anything else they could help me with. I said no if I got to pay for this again I will buy another brand. I have a emerson upstairs I have been using for 3 years. Thanks and good by. Don't buy GE unless you ant to spend money on replacements every year. I am worried now, when I built this home I purchased all new GE appliances.

This microwave works for only 2-3 years. The heating element will break if you use the "reheat" button or the "popcorn" button. This is our third one due to size and trim kit limitations. I will NOT buy another GE microwave

This is actually the second GE microwave I have owned. I replaced my kitchen appliances with stainless and replaced the microwave with one exactly like my previous one. I really like the simple to use key pad with the Quick start buttons for Potatoes, popcorn, etc. I gifted my first microwave to my daughter, who uses it everyday. For the money, this countertop model is a good buy. Be careful if you are fitting it under a cabinet. The dimensions given on the retailer's website were not exactly accurate so I would recommend actually measuring the outside dimensions.

This is probably my fav microwave so far. It has been the best as far as correct timing/temp for the auto sensor buttons (my popcorn always comes out right). My only small complaint is that there is not a rack inside where we like to store our plastic microwave cover for easy access.
