excellent fridge
We are very pleased with our new GE side-by-side refrigerator. It is quiet, has lots of storage space, and the lighting is very good. It is also one of the most beautiful refrigerators I have seen. With its rounded sides and flawless stainless steel finish, it really looks hi-end. I'm sure we will enjoy our GE for many years.
I would recommend this product to a friend.

GE VALUE with a "No-Brand" kind of PRICE
Everything GREAT you'd expect from GE's Quality line of appliances, without the High Price usually associated with owning one! There are only ~3~ ANNOYANCES (not complaints# I have with my specific model. The FIRST is Fingerprints & No Magnets on front doors #stainless#. I'm constantly cleaning & polishing every day of the week, and my magnets have to go on the sides of the fridge now. The SECOND is Water Filter above the top shelf. Tall items, such as Milk Gallons & 2-Liters of pop, must go to other side of fridge. Only shorter items fit #loss of space). The THIRD is the Door Alarm. I'm sure this is a wonderful idea for people who forget to close the doors, but when coming home from a Stressfull grocery shopping trip and trying to LOAD the fridge with doors Open, the alarm is the LAST thing I need to keep going-off to remind me to close the doors! I've been using GE appliances for OVER 30 YEARS now, and I won't hesitate to argue their benefits to Anyone, over any Competitor's Products, as they are the BEST QUALITY & LONGEST LASTING products on the market... Hands Down! Matter of fact, I TRUST in my GE appliances so-o-o much, that I opted NOT to purchase my usual 3-5+YEAR Warranty this time around #1+ year & counting)!! =^-^= I LOVE MY GE's =^-^=

So Far a Great Fridge
Purchased this fridge about 6 months ago. Easy setup nice features and spacious. I like the child lock features on the automatic ice and water dispenser as well as "the door is open" warning chime. Temperature display for freezer and fridge is also very convenient. Only negative I would have to say about it so far is the location of the light inside above the top shelf. It takes up too much room and the taller items put on the top shelf have to be rearranged around the light. Other than that I hope it lasts longer than my old one.

This refrigerator is beautiful. It is roomy. It has all the features you need. They have also changed the color it is now stainless and a tan color. Rather than a stainless with black. It works better in white kitchens. GE products last a long time. Priced right.
