This GE Drop In Electric stove looks great in my kitchen
I replaced a 35-year-old Kenmore drop in stove with this new GE drop in. Easy installation into same cabinetry. Used same junction box and electrical wiring. We did have to pay a contractor to make the side cuts to the cabinetry to allow for wider walls of new oven. I bought this having read NO reviews and our SEARS store only had a color photo in a notebook, they had no drop-in ranges of any brand on display. I like the quick pre-heat electronic controls, and dislike there's NO insulation between the oven and the cooktop, which gets very hot when oven is baking. I thought for this price I would get that. The cooktop also rattles when I'm stir frying on the top element with a skillet. I love the large hearth window in the door, and bright oven light, now I just stand back and can see what's baking without opening oven door. I chose the electric coils over a ceramic smooth cooktop because they will be much more easier to replace, instead of added cost and time to replace a smooth cooktop.
I would recommend this product to a friend.
