    We have had this unit since November 2011 and have three people using it. We wanted a non-unitized washer, but were limited to the washer closet space available in our apartment. Initially we were going to purchase a Whirlpool Unitized Gas Washer/Dryer and the purchase fell through due to time frame of delivery. We wish we would have waited for the Whirlpool. The Washer part of the unit does a satisfactory job, however, is slower then a normal washer. The warm water setting only comes out warm about 50% of the time on a new load, otherwise I would consider the water temperature to be "cool." (That could be just how cold the cold water is, the hot water doesn't balance out the cold enough to keep the water warm.) When it was first delivered the unit would only fill to approximately one gallon of water and stop, no further action by the machine at all. The Dryer part of the unit is practically useless. A normal size load of clothing takes three 90-minute high temperature drying cycles to dry at a ** minimum. ** The More-Dry (defaults at medium temperature) setting still requires the equivalent of three 90-minute settings. The temperature of the unit never gets that hot to the touch. The front display panel, where all the labels and knobs are for control, is splitting in three places and is cracked straight down the middle. GE Service has been here twice. DO NOT BUY. VERY LOW QUALITY. THIS IS NOT A GOOD GE PRODUCT!
