    Do not buy this refrigerator.  Ours arrived today and the face of the water/ice dispenser is cracked.  Also, the doors do not shut!  You need to push them very hard to get them to close and then they don't stay closed.  Look at another brand.

    This refrigerator is much larger than our old one, and we now enjoy the convenience of getting ice and water from the door, but I've lost about 2/3 of my refrigerator shelf space. I don't know how we can even prepare a meal for company or for the holidays with such little storage space. Before you shop, measure the shelf dimensions of your old refrigerator, then compare in the store. People assure me the ice dispensor in the door will be broken within two years, so then I'll be left with just a smaller refrigerator.

    After 3.5 years our refrigerator cannot maintain a constant temperature. The authorized Sears repairman said that these refrigerators are "time bombs". The estimate to repair it was over $500 and he said he often has to come back out after a major repair to replace other parts that are failing. Good Bye GE Double Door Refrigerators.
