    Pros:
    cubes, crushed & water in the door,nice fit and finish
    Cons:
    narrow freezer is useless,plastic components break

    I have had a love- hate with this refrigerator. It looks great, but the plastic components break, the refrigerator and freezer are not roomy, and now after 6 years, it is no longer keeping cold!

    I would stay away from this product

    Pros:
    fits in tight spaces,nice fit and finish,cubes, crushed & water in the door
    Cons:
    narrow freezer is useless,makes strange noises,ice maker dreadfully inadequate

    I own a previous version of this machine. Other than the shorcomings of it's size, it performed well for nearly 6 years. After that it began to:

    1. sweat profusely inside the fridge, to the point where it would puddle at your feet when the door was opened. 

    2. Make howling noises and "hooooot" when it ran.

    3. Achieve nothing lower than 42 degrees in the fridge.

    Thankfully I had the Sears Master Protection agreement. After 7 visits, multiple part swaps, and retrofit modification kits from Sears they deemed the beast 'unrepairable' and are in the process of giving me a new one. Thumbs up to Sears for their protection agreement, thumbs down to GE for making a fridge that lasts 6 years. A friend has the exact same refrigerator and his too has been virtually re-built for multiple failures.

    With any luck they have improved this model, but just to be on the safe side I am jumping ship and going with a different brand.

    I remodeled my kitchen 3 years ago and put in all GE Profile stainless steel appliances.  The refrigerator has now been serviced 3 times already for repairs!  It's currently not working again today and I had to renew my repair warranty for another $457 (3 yr warranty)!  I've had much cheaper Kenmore and Whirlpool fridges last years without any repairs.  For the price you pay for the GE Profile appliances, I would have expected much more.  On a side note, our GE Profile dishwasher has already been repaired 8 times (I was so upset that I made the appliance store give me a 5 yr extended warranty on it)...crazy!
