    Superb kitchen appliance for everyone November 13, 2010

    Just happened to pick this appliance up from my local Sears last weekend. I must admit, I wasn't expecting a whole lot considering how low the price was, but boy I was severely mistaken! This GE microwave works great in any kitchen. It fits in great as it matches my stainless steel appliances and it also is very efficient in cooking. For example, yesterday I used it to make scrambled eggs and they turned out excellent. On my old microwave, it would sort of be a guessing game to see if the food would turn out great or not. With this machine, my cooking has turned out great 100% of the time.

    So if you are out shopping for a loved one for the upcoming season, you might want to ask how their current microwave is doing because this machine will do wonders for them. Heck, you might just want to surprise one of your friends by purchasing this microwave and give them your personal satisfaction guarantee!

    GE Profile didn't work as well as standard GE range hood version April 07, 2012

    I loved my GE over the range oven with hood. It worked great. I bought a GE profile version of the same microwave for a countertop, and it doesn't work as well. It routinely overcooks the food. The Reheat button worked perfectly on the old model. Not so with the new. Also, the click stays flashing if you don't let the timer run out completely (e.g. you cook something 28 seconds intead of 30). If you forget to cancel it each time you open it early, it just flashes forever. Stupid design. You'd think they'd have figured out that if you're not going to continue cooking, that they can shut off the interrupt warning after 20 minutes or so. Turntable rotates occasionally. Junky parts. Not impressed.

    GE Profile is synonomous with quality--so why isn't there a way to level the microwave.  What a disappointment!  What would have been a perfect purchased is marred by the inability to adjust the feet on the microwave.  Go figure!

    Fortunately, I purchased the trim kit for cabinet installation; otherwise as a countertop piece, SEARS might be seeing an exchange.

    Operation is perfect -- and quiet!  LOTS of timers unlike my old microwave (not GE) which had only the one timer.

    I look forward to  using this baby on a regular basis. Great for singles.

    This unit fit in the same size opening as my old microwave but has about twice as mush usable space inside. Also VERY powerful. Love it so far.
