GE  Profile™ Series 30'' Double Wall Oven

My wall oven cut-out only allowed space for a single oven. This GE 'double in a single' is a dream come true - I finally have a double-oven again! Even if you don't "need" or want a double oven, seriously consider this model. First test was a convection-roasted chicken in the 'big' oven using the probe. Perfection. Next was a roast (same method) and roasted companion veggies, followed by rolls in the upper oven. Again, perfection. Haven't tried multi-level convection baking, slow-cooking or proofing yet, but will soon. No reason to expect anything but perfection. The 'little' oven definitely gets the most use since we're usually cooking casseroles/meals for only 2-3 people. Mine preheats in only 7 minutes! Door handles stay cool, and cooking on high temps doesn't heat up my kitchen. Little things I love ... a beep when preheated temp is reached, timer gives a heads-up beep 1 minute before time's up, and oven lights that allow you to really see inside with the door closed.

We had a single built in. We are now just a 2 person house. With this combo I heat pizzas MUCH FASTER, without heating a large oven. We also have the flexibilty of two ovens during the holidays. SPACE, TIME & ENERGY efficient!

The GE. Profile was the only combination of a large regular oven plus a smaller over I could find in any manufacturer. The large oven takes a 25 lbs. turkey plus I now have the ability to cook roast potatoes etc. in the smaller oven, at the same time, at a higher temperature. I use the smaller oven all the time to cook, bake, and broil, being smaller this saves $$. I rarely use a microwave (because I don't like them) however we do have one which sits above the oven unit. Well done GE for filling the gap no one else does.

I love this product! It gave us double ovens in our kitchen while still allowing us to have a spot on the wall for our microwave. The capacity of the ovens works great and I love having the smaller size because they heat up faster than a standard single oven. Also they aren't too small - the bottom oven is big enough for the large items and, with the convection on the bottom overn, it works well to cook multiple things at the same time / temperature. The appearance is very nice. The installation was a little tricky. We thought we would be able to pop it right into our existing hole (which has a GE Profile single wall oven) but the size was just slightly different and the position of the electrical box made it harder for our install. I would recommend purchasing installation on this. However I would definitely recommend this product. We have had it installed for over 6 months and it works great!

This double oven is great. The oven preheats quickly and I like using the smaller oven for most of my cooking needs but love the ability to have the second oven when needed.

We have had this for 1 week. Had to replace an oven. Didn't want to go through extra cost of cabinet work and lose storage space in our kitchen due to a large double oven. It was a tight fit and had the electrician relocate the power above the oven in the cut out so the installers would not have issues. The fan does blow a strong stream of air from the bottom/waist high. I wish you could divert the air down. I hang a long kitchen towel on the handle and that diverts the air to the floor and dries The towel stays dry!

At first I was skeptical about this oven, but it has far proven me wrong. It cooks everything evenly and best of all it is 2 ovens in the space of one. It compliments ones kitchen as well. Easy to use controls. The outside of the oven never feels hot, not that I am saying someone should touch it but the heat stays in the oven rather than escaping from it. I would recommend this oven to anyone looking for an oven that does so much in a single oven space. Entertainment made a little easier.

I live in a small condo and had wanted the flexibility of a double oven but don't have room for 2 separate ones. This is perfect! The ovens are not huge but, then again, neither is my living space. My only complaint is that the controls are not lit up. This makes it difficult to see them since my oven is below my counter and not at eye level. Also, the oven temperature is slightly off so if you buy it, get a good oven thermometer so you can make the necessary adjustments. Otherwise, I'm delighted to have 2 ovens in my small space!

I wanted an eye level oven, and this model gives me two versitile ovens in the space of one. The enamel racks make cleaning so much easier than conventional chrome. I love it.

I wanted a double oven but wish I had paid the extra $500 and purchased the larger double oven. Otherwise - great product!!
