    GearWrench set is great for automotive work. October 10, 2010

    I love this set.  I also have the Flex Head set.  I use this set more because of the reversible feature.  All GearWrench wrenches have a tight turning arc and work well in confined spaces.  If you have this set plus the Flex Head set, there's virtually no fastener you can't get it.

    Decent for the price. January 16, 2012

    I got these on sale for 39.99 and used a 25 dollar gift card, I received for Christmas.  My out of pocket cost was about 17 dollars with tax, so I guess I won't complain too much.  The ratchet mechanism feels flimsy and the lever to switch directions is hard to engage sometimes.  You have to turn the wrench slightly, then flip the lever.  I've broken gearwrench ratchets before, and they do have a lifetime warrantly.  The mac tools gearwrenchs, I've used, are a lot heavier duty at about 4 times the price, and if I'd have paid the 69.99 full price for these I would be returning them.  The cheap h. freight gear wrenches that retail for 24.99 feal heavier than these.  Time will tell, since I'll be using these a lot in the spring.  These will make a nice addition to my tool sets, but I'd never want to rely on them as my only set of wrenches, or if I turned wrenches for a living.

    I bought this set because I was working on a transfer case removal. The 15 mm was perfect in this application. After a few months of use the 15 mm wore out. I did use this daily. I called gear wrench and they sent the wrench replacement in about 4 days. I was satisfied that the warranty was so easy. I didn't have to return the original for evaluation... Very nice. Not for heavy duty applications needing extreme torque... This is a light to medium duty tool. Has nice features and clear markings on tool. Even has a set of light grooves on one side of the wrench to assist in non visible application of using this tools ratcheting direction. Nice when you can't see the bolt or wrench when in a tight spot and your going by feel. So far the other wrenches are holding up just fine.

    Very cool how the wrenches are marked so you don't have to look at it to know which way it is going to turn, just have to feel for the ridges on the side of the wrench to know, great idea.

    Got these last christmas from a girl friend and I love them. Recently did a motor swap and these wrenches came in handy especially in tight spaces. With the swap project I don't know where I would have been without these gear wrench flex head ratcheting wrenches. A must have!!!
