Great tool BUT...
I really like the wrenches BUT I have one caveat for those expecting versatility, you can't reverse the wrench degree-of-angle-wise. It is only effective on the nut by order of one degree of inclination, you cannot 'flip' the wrench around to use the opposite angle of inclination. This is because they designed a "fail-safe" feature to the wrench so it can't 'slip' down beyond the nut you are working on, hence you cannot 'flip' the wrench around and tackle the nut from the opposite angle. That is the only snafu to the tool that I can see. Otherwise it is a high quality wrench, I was just a bit disappointed that for that much money, you can't use the wrench in every direction (I don't mean tighten/loosen).

OK, so gearwrench is a life saver and makes a good wrench but, the cap stop crap won't work for your avid d-i-y guy or a guy that turns wrenches all day. You just cant flip the wrench over if you need it in a tight spot, wont work do to the cap stop feature... I am sure there is a place in the market for these but that place isn't in my tool box.... Bought these and the SAE set for a killer price but there going back unfortunatly.......

Great set but wait for good sale
I bought these for $35 last month during a sale. They are worth the $70 normal price but no need to spend the money unless you absolutely have to have them today. The quality is just as good or better than craftsman and Snap-on at a fraction of the price. Do yourself a favor and just get this one.

Time savers
As the saying goes, greatest thing since sliced bread. You know all those contortionist positions you get in trying to get one bolt out, then have to figure out how to stay there, move the wrench, pull off the bolt then repeat. Well these wrenches make it much much easier, less time spent in weird positions, especially with the reversible switch at your fingers.

Gotta Love The Reversible Ratchet Wrenches!
I have been looking at a set of these for a while, but I had a hard time justifying the price of a set of these ($80) for how little I actually would use them. They went on sale (%50 of normal retail), plus I had $20 of rewards points that were about to expire, so I picked up a set. Man, what a great buy, and I wish I would have bought myself a set of these years ago! I only use my ratcheting wrench set now when repairing anything...unless one of the wrenches won't fit...then I will use my Sears Craftsman ratcheting socket set. I like the metric set so much, I went and bought the SAE set too...as a Christmas present to myself...! I would definitely recommend these to anybody who is a "do it yourselfer" and needs wrenches for car/truck or small engine repair. You will not regret your purchase!

Reversible is the way to go!
I have most of the different Gear Wrench offerings and have found the basic reversible wrench the one I keep going back to. I have found too often with the flex head, or straight wrenches, that I can reach the point where I can't force it forward any further, but have no way to get it out of where it is, oh for a release. With these there is one!

The 5 deg ratchet and markings make this perfect for tight use.
I bought this set because I was working on a transfer case removal. The 15 mm was perfect in this application. After a few months of use the 15 mm wore out. I did use this daily. I called gear wrench and they sent the wrench replacement in about 4 days. I was satisfied that the warranty was so easy. I didn't have to return the original for evaluation... Very nice. Not for heavy duty applications needing extreme torque... This is a light to medium duty tool. Has nice features and clear markings on tool. Even has a set of light grooves on one side of the wrench to assist in non visible application of using this tools ratcheting direction. Nice when you can't see the bolt or wrench when in a tight spot and your going by feel. So far the other wrenches are holding up just fine.
