I Have had a set for many years. Bought a second one. Mine have not broken but you have to treat them like you would a regular ratchet. Don't hammer on them or try to loosen an extremly tight nut that you have to use a cheater bar on. Use a regular box end in that case.

Racheting Problem
I have both metric and SAE sets and several wrenches in both sets have the same problem where the racheting direction lever will flip back and forth when I used them the very first time. I will be getting rid of these and getting the Craftsman Locking Flex-head racheting wrenches.

Love these wrenches
This set is great and the finish is awesome. I figured they would have a blemish or two but I haven't found anything. I proudly display these in my tool box. If you get hung up on brand names you will only spend more on the same quality. The great thing about these wrenches is you don't have to mail your wrench in, or chase a truck down the street to replace it. Take it to Sears and leave with a brand new one.

One of the top ratcheting mechanisms available
GearWrench comes standard with a great finish and a smooth ratcheting mechanism. The reversing lever gives the user an extra option while working in tight quarters and the angled end gives the user more clearance. These wrenches can speed up repairs or assembly projects but should not be used to loosen frozen rusty bolts. They come with a warranty but not as good as a Craftsman warranty which is honored at any Sears store.

Awesome Wrenches for the price
I caught Sears?s online sale and picked up the wrench Set. I needed them, as I had junk tools and now in building up my tools with Craftsman. I went with Craftsman tools as it was a balance from price, made in the USA and the guarantee as other tools, such as Snap-on, Matco or others will leave you in owning them in debt forever with the prices they charge; I purchased mine at 39.99 verses other competitors and a much higher price. Again it?s the balance from price, quality, and the guarantee. Great product for the price and value, I would recommend this to family and friends. I didnt see that Craftsman makes these types also, for some reason I thought this was craftsman......But its gearwrench....at the time I purchased them.

Awesome wrench
Awesome wrench the only negative about these wrenches is that they have a large end on the side with the ratchetting part. With the large end it sometimes doesnt fit where you need them to and you have to use a regular non ratchetting wrench. Other than the size they are a great set and i would highly reccomend them.

Had 8 sizes vs. most other sets with 7 e.g. Kobalt or Craftsman. Wandte dto try a set and these were on sale. Use them for getting into tight spots on vintage car and so far they have performed as designed at torque needed
