While others keep your drink in constant contact with plastic, ours has an interior that’s fully stainless steel. The only time your beverage comes into contact with the 100% BPA-free, heat-resistant plastic is when it’s being pumped through the spout. And while others are a pain to clean or fill with ice, ours has a removable lid and a wide mouth. Just press the two buttons at the front of the head to pop open the lid for easy filling, and click the two buttons at the back to completely remove the head for thorough cleaning.
*NOTE: This claim was tested by filling the airpot full of near boiling water and then measuring the temperature of the water after 20 hours in a room with an ambient air temperature of 77F.
