GRAFF Hacksaw blade

GRAFF Hacksaw blade is a narrow strip, at the ends of which there are holes for fastening.
In the GRAFF product catalog, hacksaw blades are presented in two types:
from High-Speed Steel (HSS). They have more sustainable teeth;
from Bi-metal 8% Cobalt. They are made of carbon steel, on top of which a HSS strip is welded to serve as the base for the teeth.

The GRAFF saw blade is serrated with 24 TPI (teeth per inch) on one side. The hacksaw blade has a fine-tooth pitch made of HSS steel Р6М5.
HSS metal saw blade can be bent easily without losing its working properties. It is suitable for a cutting angle of 45°.

HACKSAW BLADE INSTALLATION
The installation method is determined by the design of the fastening system on the hacksaw itself.
With a threaded clamp, the hacksaw blade is inserted into the corresponding ledge, tighten slightly, and then secured with a wing nut.
To install the saw blade on a hacksaw using a lever mechanism, simply pull out the lever that is opposite the handle, place the saw blade, and return the lever to its original position.
When properly tightened, the hacksaw blade should ring lightly and vibrate slightly. During operation, the saw blade should not change the direction of movement under load.
Have to work with a hacksaw blade in a reciprocating motion with simultaneous pressure.
