This is a replacement Kenmore UltraCare DCF-4 Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner Filter. Also known as a Kenmore F8 Filter, this replacement filter is an even better quality filter then the filter which came with your Kenmore. This replacement filter contains an active layer of charcoal (the picture with the layer of black material) that absorbs and eliminates odors in addition to capturing microscopic particles such as dust mites, pet dander, pollen, and other airborne allergens. The Envirocare brand replacement filter is ideal for homes that have pets or people who suffer from breathing issues and allergies. As the air passes through the active charcoal material, all odors organic in nature are captured by the charcoal, exhausting clean, odor-free air back into the air you breathe. Kenmore recommends replacing this filter once every year to ensure optimal performance of the vacuum. Fits Sears Kenmore Ultra Care Type DCF-4, and F8, and Sears Part Numbers 301974002, which has been substituted with part number 2UD0280000. Fits Select Kenmore Bagless Uprights, including Model 21637020700.
