Simple or Sophisticated
A fantastic slow cooker that does it all. You can use it like a good old fashioned crock pot, if that's what you prefer. Just manually select the high, low, or keep warm setting. But you also have two other neat options: 1) count-down or timer mode, while using either the high or low settings, or 2) you can use the temperature probe to reach a low temperature of 160 degrees or the high setting at 180 degrees. After reaching either targeted temperature, the unit will then automatically coast into keep-warm mode. Very cool! This model is designed to automatically turn off after 14 hours of use. A rubber gasket on the lid and two clamp-down latches make this an easy slow cooker to transport without spilling the contents. We can understand why this model was recently recommended in a national consumer magazine. We highly recommend this slow cooker as well. It's an easy-to-use crock pot that is just loaded with convenient features. We love ours.

Hamilton Beach Set n Forget 6 qt. Probe did not work: always showed 220F and turn to warm. Smelled plastic when on high. Heat seems to be spread uneven - one side was boiling.

Absolutely Love this Machine!
This machine is perfect! I love using it! It works wonderfully on stews and pot roasts. I wish they had a better recipe section with it, but still works perfectly. I haven't tried using the thermometer yet, but working on 12-15 hour slow cookings times everything comes out perfect!

Slow cooking is made easy and econonical
I bought this Hamilton Beach slow cooker at Kmart because it was cheaper than other stores and I needed to replace the slow cooker I had that was boiling everything to death! I love this new one, its pretty, works wonderfully, is so easy to clean, and the temperature settings are true and doesn't overcook or undercook anything. I love this and I am so happy I purchased it!

I was so amazed with this product . I love love love cooking in it for my family .I made a beef stew that was to die for . My kids were asking for seconds ! but the thing about this product is simply that it is very easy to use and I can (everybody now ) SET IT aaaaand FORGET IT !
