Great 18v drill/driver
This drill/driver is an 18v (not lithium ion) that works fantastic and had not let me down yet. Hitachi power tools, in my opinion, are extremely underrated for durability and price. The grip is ergonomically designed, the drill isn't too heavy, and it's got plenty of power to boot. All in all, a very solid drill/driver at a great price. Thanks Hitachi!

Best product/value... probably not.
Overall works great. Li-on batteries are much better than Ni-Cad. No charge memory, smaller and lighter. Drill has few issues... when using a hole saw bit, if it binds up, the clutch moves out of the drill setting to a screwdriver slip setting. Must stop and turn the clutch back to drill. Also, the LED light on the drill is located so that the chuck shadows the work area. Others mount the light down by the battery. Didn't think the handheld light would be much use, but I find myself grabbing it often. Just wish it was multi-LED instead of a bulb, as it will use up the battery quickly.

Used this drill to repair my deck.the battery lasted all day. it is light and very powerful. the flashlight has proven to be very usefull. highly recommend it.
