Hoover  Hoover LiNX Cordless Stick Vacuum, BH50010

The LiNX is a like a full size vacuum in a little body. I am so pleased with the power and suction and like the ease of the rechargeable battery pack. I highly recommend this product.

I have had so many cordless vacs that were just ok, but this one is very powerful for most carpet and great for rugs, hardwood and tile. Only negative is the battery just stops suddenly when it is drained of charge. It last about 30 minutes which is good but does not slowly die. OVERALL IS WELL WORTH THE MONEY.

Amazing power for a cordless vacuum!! So easy to use and carry around without a cord!! This is my 3rd cordless vacuum (Eureka Boss and some other worthless stickvac), and this is by far the best. Battery seems to last about 15 minutes, but that is enough for a quick once-over. My only complaint is that I wish it had a HEPA filter, because you can tell it is blowing dust in the air as soon as the foam filter gets dusty or the collection area gets too full. I still love this thing, and use it every day or two. Expensive, but WORTH IT! My house seems way cleaner with little effort, gotta love that! P.S. Hoover customer service says DO NOT leave the battery in the charger once it is charged, because that greatly shortens the life of the battery.

This product is NOT worh purchasing.  I read the reviews in 2010 when I purchased this item, as well as, researching it thouroghly and have had the bottom replaced by the manufacturer.  It still does NOT pick up fine particles from a vinyl floor such as fine cat litter.  It drops the fine litter and other fine particles out of the bottom.

As far as carpeting, it's not meant to pick up very well and only the top sufrace; deep cleaning is not a part of it's feature---use your usual vacuum clear for deeper cleaning.  (I was not looking for the Linx to use on carpets anyway but the product recommends it does an excellent job.  Not True.  

In addition, the battery also tends to wear down faster than it is supposed to.  I will be contacting the manufacturer for the 2nd time to get a refund if at all possible or they will replace the bottom again.  

The Black & Decker I had which had a different battery, not as advanced as the Linx, lasted longer and picked up everything VERY WELL and had a detachable hand vac with it.  

I will NOT purchase another product from LINX again as it is made outside the USA, it's made in Mexico and affiliated with Dirt Devil.

Products one purchases today are meant to last only so long and stop working.  Unfortunately the quality and products we buy today, as part of the trade agreements, are much more less reliable.  Look at many other reviews on products other than this and you will find many people stating they've had vacuums, appliances, etc., lasting 30 + years.  Not anymore!!

This vacuum does not perform as well and my $30.00 vacuum. I intend to return it.

My wife and I have both used the Hoover LiNX vacuum, and it is light in weight, easy to use and powerful; a combination usually not found together in a stick vacuum. This vacuum has proved to be super at picking up pet hair; a must at our house.

It works very well, BUT the battery has to be charged after about 15 minutes of use and it takes 3 hours for it to charge.

I had owned a Hoover Platinum Stick for approximatly 2 years. I used it both downstairs on the wood and tile and upstairs on the carpet. It worked so well that I decided to obtain a second one so that I would no longer need to carry it up and down the stairs. It is a great product - better than any other cordless vacuum that I have owned. I highly recommend it.

I've only had this vacuum for a couple weeks and was leary to purchase a battery powered stick vac but this works better than I could have imagined.  It does not lose suction as battery loses charge and the battery charges quickly.  It also lasts a lot longer than comparable vacuums.  Overall, best bang for your buck and I did A LOT of research for a vac for my hardwood floors!!!
