The noises that eminate from this appliance are absolutely frightening. The machine sounds possessed and, contrary to the statement that it stays in place, it definitely doesn't. This baby walks all over the basement. It makes loud chirping noises as it's washing and when it goes into spin cycle, it sounds like the F-15 jets on the trim pad. Also, it "eats" clothes. Now, it makes these horrible noises no matter what is in the wash load so it isn't because I've put too much heavy clothing in it. No, it went ballistic when I was just washing my sons' socks. I hate it and I don't like to use it. I just purchased it last month and quite frankly, I'd rather take the clothes to the pond and beat them on rocks! Hate, hate, hate this machine. One of my sons who is a plumber said that it sounds like the machine has a bad berring. Well, I'm going to call a repair person to see what's up with this abomination and if that is how it is supposed to function and sound, I'll be junking it!

Terrible washer - noisy, cheap
This washer is awful. We bought it 8 mths ago. Terribly noisy, awkward to operate. **** hard to pull. Agitator broke after 3 months (warranty). Makes horrible bangy noise when spin cycle starts. Wish I never bought it. Am donating it to Habitat for Humanity.

Ultimately costs more and leaves you with dirty clothes. Any savings are negated as the rinse cycle must be run at least twice to remove the soap. The dirt remains.

Definitely Not Sear's Best
Water only fills 1/4 to 1/2 - even if large load is selected Hot is Warm. Warm is Luke-Warm. No spin cycle in between wash and rinse. Most loads must be washed twice and then re-rinsed to get the soap out.

Hotpoint 3.3
I purchased a (Hotpoint washer 3.3), exactly one year and ten days ago. Well first off the rinse cycle only fills 1/4 full, does'nt even cover the clothes (full load) for a clean rinse. So your clothes are left with dirty soap water on them! Then as far as energy efficient, Well husband went downstairs to put the clothes in dryer, and it was overfilling, flooding basement floor, and still filling, hate to think what would have happened overnight! Just a piece of junk, I would pay for a good old washer that on rinse cycle filled full, and spun out!
