Ingersoll Rand  1/2 in. Quiet Impactool Impact Wrench

its an ok tool not as good as the black ingersol and rand 1/2 inch impact but does the job just make sure you use a torque wrench on wheels after using it and oil it every day and it will get a lil stronger

This gun is weak. No power. Then the anvils blew out. Sears said they have to mail it BACK TO CHINA for warranty work.Then I noticed it IS made in CHINA. I put it in the trash.

Needed to replace rear main seal on differential. Had bought a kobalt, thinking it had enough torque, was I wrong. The nut was locked from the weather conditions from up north, and couldn't break it loose. I decided to go to sears and try this impact. At first, I hooked up the 3/8 hose straight to the impact, and seen the socket start to turn just enough to get it off. This has all the power! I will never buy cheap again.

I used to work in the Auto Center at Sears and they let me use this gun for tires in their shop. I had it for about 8 months before leaving the company. The first tool I bought after moving to the local GMC dealer was this gun. It has good power, light weight, and is really quiet. The guys at my new job have all commented about how quiet it is and they seem really impressed. For the money you cannot beat this tool.

This gun has the best torque-for-the-money ratio you can get. I work in a locomotive repair shop, and every nut and/or bolt is hard to break loose, due to vibration, heat, and brake dust everywhere . This gun has the snot needed, for most work. The shop provides 3/4 drive guns,( which are much heavyer and louder !) but this tool does the job, more quickly, 4 out of 5 times. It also has setting dial to reduce power, when tightening, to prevent over-torquing, for small stuff. It is light weight, and really is quiet, you can use it all day, no problem. This gun has plenty of back-off torque for a 1/2" drive, and to get any more, the cost goes way up real fast. The only negative I've found is that it is hard to keep clean. The Main Engines are black with diesel/carbon soot, inside, so my gun is turning black as well. I didn't like the blue, anyway! A metal casing would make an attractive option.

I received this impact wrench for Christmas a few years ago. It has been working flawlessly ever since. I have dropped it, kicked it across my driveway and dragged it around whatever I happened to be working on at the moment and nothing has phased it. It's really quiet for an impact wrench, and the Hogue grip is very comfortable. It isn't the strongest impact out there, but it's nice if you wrench at home with neighbors close by.

I purchased this product and had to return it twice. It worked great the first few times then it just blew air no power to anvil at all. I finally spent the extra money and got the 2135timax. The 2135timax is a beast.

Very quiet requires very low pressure to remove lug nuts.

Since I have just started using air tools recently I wanted to purchase an Impact Wrench that was economical as well as durable. With the 2131QT, I got a heavy duty drill that was affordable but also lighter and quieter than impact wrenches that I have used previously. I did some research on the internet before I finally decided on this impact wrench and when I saw that Sears had it on sale, I rushed over to purchase it right away because I needed it for the weekend to PM my truck and my Camaro. I only use a 1.5HP / 15 gal. compressor to run my air tools and this was no problem for the 2131QT. I was amazed at how easy it removed the lugnuts on both vehicles, especially the Camaro which I torque to the MFG recommended 140 ft/lbs. The noise level was almost non-existant to where I did not even have to use any type of hearing protection. For any DIY like myself, you can't go wrong with this impact wrench.

The 2131QT impact wrench would be plenty suitable for professional mechanics, but I'm just DIY'er who likes to work on my car & save a little ca$h when I can. It provides plenty of torque, is quiet and smooth...though I wish it would've come with a case for storage. Still, for the price & quality it's a great little gun that gets'er done!
