Very satisfied with this appliance, a few bugs.

Very good stove, unhappy with installation from SEARS so hired an outside professional.

Fan creates a suction that diminishes the flame and leaves pan cooking unevenly.

Would recommend this stove to anyone. Buy extra burners and griddle (why are these options?).

      Keep the repair man handy....

I have had this oven for 5 years and I have had to have it serviced numerous times for major repairs. I would not purchase this appliance again although I have probably paid for 3 of them already in repairs.

      two years for the oven!

i bought this range and only used the gas cooktop for 8 years. i then rented my home to a nice family that baked. after one year the electronic oven panel had to be replaced for $500. now, two years later it has to be replaced again for $500! this range costs $2499 new at this time (2014). many less expensive ranges are available if you do not require a 'down-draft', so i would avoid this if remodeling!

      It's just a stove!

Waited years for the indoor grill and have been greatly disappointed! Online now shopping for a griddle to replace it! The heat is not evenly distributed; can't cook a hotdog without one end burning before the other end is done. A bear to clean. Even with a vent hood and the down draft the smell lasts for days. Wish I had researched better . . . my fault!

Fantastic and unriveled in swap out features!

To clarify- my stove is not dual, it's fully electric and I've had it for eight years w/o a single problem! Having the double grill that easliy pops in and out, and so many options to convert this range into whatever you feel like cooking, puts it over the top of all others I've looked at.  I am on here vascillating whether or not to get the stainless version instead of white (Interior flood forced remodel).  The fan is super strong with a grease filter (easy to clean) so you need no other venting.  The self cleaning feature leaves a mere tablespoon (if that) of ash to wipe out.  I have never encountered any costly electrical board problems as the makers of Jenn-Air do it right the first time.  I also bought their matching dishwasher that is so quiet you only know it's running from the light indicator!

As far as cooking and baking, this unit (or similar) with the two convection features is a dream for the avid cook.  As other companies are now trying to compete in the high end market with only some of the standard features, I would be nervous to purchase anything else.  Appliance shopping is a daunting, time consuming task.  Rest assured, I'm not a sales person or rep for this company, I'm just a super "foodie" who loves to entertain.  The only step up from this company would be a costly Viking or Wolf but those units do not have the versatility or in unit fan.  Hope my review helps you in your search!
