    Great Little Freezer October 15, 2008

    I recently purchased this freezer and I am loving it. Although at the onset it was a little noisy, after it got cold all I hear is the compressor (common) come on intermitently. I would recommend this freezer to anyone and am totally happy with this purchase.

    Fan motor really noisy !!!!! Cycles on and off alot even when full. When door closes sounds like train whistle=entertaining!?Would be good freezer for garage or off room. Door brackets very thin !!!!!!!! Thermostat dial bad location =located in back right hand side 2nd shelf. probably would not want to place items in front of it but once set really don't have to again.No kick plate though just for dressing. A lot room,shelves,lighting and can be placed very close to wall , no compressor sticking out. Set thermostat to 4&1/2 for zero degrees freezer full! Sears should show back of freezers. Manual defrost compressor sticks out slightly & could possibly be damaged. Frost free can be almost against wall. Interior seems to be the same as Model #28262. This is great freezer but very noisy.

    I purchaced this freezer 3 months ago. It's size is perfect for a family of 4-5. I see others say it's noisey, but I havent heard this unit run since I bought it. It keeps freezer temperature great, no freezer burn on items inside. Great Freezer!
