    Kenmore microwave November 07, 2010

    The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is that the cooking buttons are hard to read.  That's something I can live with.  This replaced a 13 year old kenmore microwave and the sensor cooking is quite nice.  I can also turn sound off on, which is a feature I like.  Large interior cavity and I really like the curved back wall.  Easy to clean and nothing gets hung up on the corners, like how popcorn bags sometimes will.  The size is more compact but more power than my last microwave.

    The Kenmore Countertop Microwave is simple to use. June 09, 2010

    I researched microwaves for a whole day before I decided on a Kenmore.  I wanted a dependable model without spending a ton of money.  This microwave was good for the price. 

    I'm not a read the manual kind of girl, so I punched buttons and read the display and had it all figured out in no time flat, it's that easy to use.  The only problem is I don't remember which key is which, there are many, so I'll be punching buttons for a bit until I get them all memorized!

    It's a little low profile and I can't see the complete time displayed when standing straight.  I have it placed on a standard countertop and am only 5'7" and I have to bend my head down to see the top half of the numbers.  Not a real big deal, but it bugs me just the same.  After looking at it a few times I found myself thinking, why isn't this thing taller?

    It cooks great, no problems so far, and I don't have a problem with the popcorn going 10 seconds too long like some of the others.  We use it mainly to re-heat as well as to steam veggies and it performs perfectly every time.

    We've had our microwave for several months now, and the only complaint is, with the black model, it's hard to read the labels on some of the control buttons AND the turntable became noisy fairly quickly. Otherwise, it works very nicely for us...we like it a LOT!

    This was by far the best microwave we have ever bought, it replaced an older model and it's so easy to use and the kids can use it just as easily! I liked the price and size of this model, also the features are just great!

    The size of the microwave is big enough to put a full size casserole. Mostly use to cook steamable vegetables and does and excellent job. Enjoy the popcorn button as it stops just at the right time. Our light went out but doesn't hinder the performance. Good for the price.
