We got this Refrigerator last Saturday. I had ordered it at my local Sears after seeing it on sale. We got our delivery Saturday afternoon. I have to take the time to say we had a great delivery driver. Professional, courteous and very careful to make sure everything was just so. It took about 4 hours for the fridge to reach default temperature. It is very spacious, and has many nice features. I'm a big fan of the filtered water inside the door. This is our first french door, and I'm going to be getting that style from now on. All in all, I"m very pleased with my purchase. I had read one review about a problem with the freon line. I bought a Warranty, just in case. I've always preferred Kenmore appliances, and this just reinforces my belief in the brand. Satisfied Customer.

This is a nice refrigerator and I am impressed after having a Whirlpool for '20 years' -  it holds a lot of food and  my husband is impressed with the ice maker; he doesn't have to fill ice trays and the water dispenser is inside this one; nice for when grand children visit and don't have to worry about them 'playing w/water dispenser' - It makes a lot of different sounds, but getting use to them.

Kenmore French-door refrigerator seems to be ideal for our kitchen.  Measurements as offered by the manufacturer were a bit-misleading; we had to make some adjustments even after our own in-store measurements.   Appearance is stunning.  To date--about two weeks--unit seems efficient.  The operation is quiet.  It takes time to adjust to the French-door arrangement; it affects how the interior spaces are utilized.  The larger, basically flat, pull-out grocery drawer seems to be a bad use of interior space.  Humidity controlled drawers are a reasonable size, and the humidity control seems to be effective.  Ice-maker is nice-to-have; the filtered water supply is questionable at the moment.  Check back with us in 6 months, then 12 months, and a more perceptive review will be possible.

Delivery and installation were nicely done.  They did seem a bit too anxious to use their power-driven screw driver, and as a result stripped some of the screws holding hinge-concealing plastic covers.  The problem was remedied with some alternative screws.

We waited a long time to buy a refrigerator and really wanted a bottom freezer. We saw this refrigerator and the measurements were almost perfect but still had to take down the above refrigerator cabinet and downsize. Why are all refrigerators so wide and so tall now? All the french door refrigerators of LG, GE and Kitchenaid were not highly rated so we were back to square one. Saw an ad for this model, a two day ad, free delivery, $50 rebate from LIPA, $75 dollar rebate and on sale for 999.99 at Sears. This model of Kenmore is made by Whirlpool and was highly rated by consumers. Holds the same as the top freezer Whirlpool we had. This one is quiet, black finish is easily cleaned with a hot wet sponge-no windex, has a water dispenser inside (so no messy mess on the outside), has a replaceable filter inside the refrigerator, SO EASY to clean inside, has an automatic ice maker, temp. display inside and well, it's great! ONLY problem we had was with the delivery people. Sears sent the three stooges here to deliver it BUT in this situation they were not funny! The three men, dropped things, dropped and broke one of the tray drawers (Sears is sending us a new one), did not set the unit up, did not hook up the water line (we did it ourselves), did not level the unit and french doors were not even after they placed them on. BUT Sears sent someone in two days to adjust everything and now all is perfect. Really would recommend this unit!
