    The Kenmore 4.2 cu. ft. Front-Load Washer is quite and powerful! April 01, 2011

    This is the best purchase my husband and I made... We are very picky when it comes to buying anything...I must say I am a Kenmore loyalist coming from a top loader to a front loader, I was a little uncertain not about the brand but going to the front loader washer. Well let me express that once you have the experience, you WILL LOVE IT! My husband loads the washer with a smile. The first time he washed clothes he sat in front of the washer and watched the entire wash cycle, the washer use very little water and the clothes comes out almost dry, so there will be very little drying time as well. We are happy campers! Kudos!!!! Eager to see my water and electric bills.

    I will never buy a Kenmore washer ever again!! November 28, 2011

    To all the great reviews, just wait till you have to make your first service call.  We bought ours in 2006 and it has been repaired for water leaks twice.  I have spent $400 repairing this piece of crap.  To top it off, we have water damage in our laundry room.  Well, it leaked again today and I called Sears.  They tried to sell me a one year service agreement for $319!!!!  The last time they fixed it only provided a 90 day warranty.  It will cost me $129 for a service person to look at this thing.  What happened to building quality products or at least standing behind your products???  This is the worst purchase we ever made.  I am ready to send it to the junk yard.

    great,quiet

    I love this machine.When I purchased it  the guys at Sears loaded it and the pedastal into my van with the back seat down  with no problem. My 10 year old and I were able to carry it (I'm only 130 lbs woman and my son is about 100 lbs) inside and downstairs and install it ourselves with no prior experience... in 2 short hours of leaving Sears it was up and running! The machine came with easy to follow instructions and new hoses. Plus it has all the features I want and will hopefully save us some money! My favorite feature is the sanitize mode followed closely by the timer that tells you how many minutes your load will take. It is almost silent and easy to level out if you follow instructions!
