Kenmore  30'' Freestanding Electric Range - Black

This is an excellent range. The only problems I have are that I've never owned a flat top before. It gets dirty FAST and its not easy to clean. You cant just wipe it clean, you have to use the specialized cleansers. But when you do use those cleansers, it looks brand new again. It does take quite awhile to warm up. Otherwise I'm pretty happy with it.

I purchased this stove to replace a 17 year old GE electric coil oven/range. I love the smooth top - it is more work to keep on top of spills, but in the long run it's so worth it. I do find that it takes a little bit of a learning curve because the oven takes a little longer to heat to temperature because the oven coil is hidden, but the range top heats well, and the keep warm area is very handy for keeping food warm while other food finishes cooking. This stove has a hot surface light that warns users if the range top is still hot after the burner switch is turned off. I think this is a great safety feature so people won't get burned. I didn't want to spend a Great mid range stove.

Reasonable priced, works well, no complaints

Since we dont have gas lines, I bought this because i hate the coil burners and thought this might be better .. wrong!! The burners dont seem to regulate the temperatures. The small burners take forever to boil and the big (main) burner keeps boiling on 3. Just when u think its on simmer, u come back to burned dinner. The oven tempertures seem to be higher than what the manual gages say as well. Maybe we bought one that wasnt calibrated correctly but if you feel like a bad cook? This stove will make you wanna do take out!

We are on our third exchange of this stove, the first one had pitting on the top, and the second one the glass on the door was not installed properly and turned completely purple, customer is great however, which makes the exchange easy...

Being able to choose more options on how you can cook is great. The appearance is very eye appealing. It can accent any kitchen.

Very nice, and easy to use. The solid service is always great to have, this one is extra nice because both the front burners are large and have a dual ring on each. You can choose to use just the inner ring for smaller pot and pans, or use the outer ring for larger pots and pans.

I just love my new range. It compliment my kitchen decore. It works great. It heats up fast and cooks evenly. I used to use "Hi" setting to cook all of my meals. Now, with my new range, a setting on "5" is just like "Hi" setting on my old range. I like it that I can use three small pots at the same time, considering that I live alone. The oven works great. No visible heating elements. Waw! It also heats up fast and bakes evenly. Customer Service was excellent. I was disappointed that I had to wait two weeks for pick-up at the store, however. I was compensated 5% discount for my inconvenience on top of the already $250 off original price during a Holiday sale. I just noticed that the price went back up slightly.This range is still worth the price. I would greatly recommend this range. My color range was black.

I wanted a ceramic top stove and I feel I made an excellent choice with this one. I keep a thermometer in the oven and it maintains temp beautifully. The stove top is so versatile with the burner size choice on the front burners. It handles my largest skillet with ease. Cleaning has been extremely easy. I could not be more pleased with this stove.

Bought this to replace an import that crapped out after 14 months. Well this one lasted about 18 months before the circuit board went out. Good thing I have a whole house service contract.
