    Great Value February 28, 2009

    This replaces the one that just died after 33 years of service. May I be as lucky with this one. Great price, good features, nice exterior finger print hiding surface and brighter on the inside is easer to see things than my old silver lined one. I'm delighted that this one has a light on the outside to confirm that it is running, as this would have saved us once before . I highly recommend this to anyone interested, and would buy it again if the need would arise.

    Fine until it isn't July 01, 2008

    My unit was manufactured 11/05. A few days ago it stopped working and the entire freezer load of food is ruined. Unplugging the unit and then plugging it back in again caused it to restart. Think about it. How much do you really save having a freezer after paying for the electricity and several hundred dollars loss in spoiled food. The freezer is a dead loss now as it would be foolish to assume it will not fail again. So now I also have to dispose of the thing

    I bought this freezer about a year ago. While it is basic and does not have a light it holds plenty for a one or two person household. I placed a thermometer in the freezer to make sure i set the dial to about 0 degrees. It always works perfectly and has not needed defrosted in a year's time. I would recommend this to anyone!

    PERFECT FOR A SMALL AREA INSIDE YOUR HOUSE, WHEN A FULL SIZE FREEZER IS TOO BIG, AND YOUR REFRIGERATOR FREEZER DOESNT HAVE ENOUGH SPACE. QUIET AND ENERGY SAVING. PERFECT FOR AN APARTMENT. I BOUGHT TWO FOR MY CHILDREN THAT DON'T LIVE AT HOME ANYMORE.

    my sister in law have one and she loves it. you cant hear it run her dte bill didnt go up much just like 3.00 there lot of room in it so im going to put one in lay a way soon she give it a five star all the way she said. im just glad kmart still have the lay a way thank you kmart for being the best store in mi

    We purchased half a beef in the middle of summer and realized as we were heading home that we didn't have enough room in our current upright freezer. We dropped into Sears and bought the floor model because we needed the freezer immediately. We brought it home, plugged it in and loaded it with frozen meat. Everything froze great and has provided us many fine meals. This is a great value for the price and it's small size is perfect for small families or as an extra freezer.
