    Heats up quickly and accurate! August 26, 2010

    I recently purchased this great toaster oven.  I have used toaster ovens for years.  when my old one finally gave up, I purchased this one.  I Love IT!!  The color is awesome!!  It heats up quickly, and alerts you when it is preheated.  The temperatures are very accurate as well.  I can use this product knowing that if I am cooking something by directions, I can set the temp and know that it will cook it properly!!  It is also so handy!!  It saves energy too!!  I can cook just about anything in it and not have to use the stove. Wow!  What else can I say except You need to get one!!!  The price is also very convenient!!!  I give this product a great review because it truely is a great product!!

    2nd replacement has went out again in less than 2 years!! December 07, 2010

    I purchased this product for my mother for Christmas in Dec of 2008. My mother loved it until a switch went bad on the unit.  She used the convection portion more than the toaster portion every day!  After about 4 months of use, the switch went out.  I returned it to the store in April of 2009 and was given another unit as the unit went bad under warranty from  Kenmore.  Less than a year later in beginning of 2010, the same switch that went bad in the original one went bad again!!  Again, I have taken it back to the store.  Workin' on unit number 3.  Not sure if this one will go bad also.  So far so good...but if they haven't fixed it, I'll be back again... Next time, I'll splurge for the Elite.  Maybe that one won't have the problems this one has.

    My kitchen is done in red so that is the reason I purchased this toaster. It is also a great toaster that cooks pretty fast.

    I've had the matching Kenmore 4 slice toaster for 2 years, and it still works great too! This oven is perfect for anytime where you just don't want to heat the whole kitchen or wait for your big oven to preheat. I wouldn't use it to cook anything that takes more than 30 minutes as my gas oven is far cheaper to operate than this high wattage appliance, but it works great for those shorter baking jobs. We use it mostly for toasting larger buns and french bread slices with garlic butter, but also use it to bake Pillsbury rolls and pastries, as well as pizza. When baking, I do find that it heats about 50 degs hotter than the setting, so I just adjust the setting accordingly and everything turns out great. The convection function ensures even baking. Our main gas oven went out for a week, and I was grateful to have this as an alternate for cooking our weekly frozen pizza. It fits the 12" round pizza pans perfectly! Overall, an excellent purchase! This line of red Kenmore appliances very closely matches the color of my red KitchenAid mixer. It's a deeper red than other similar Kenmore appliances which are slightly more cherry red in color. I prefer this deeper red set... it's very classy with the stainless!

    LOUD,Not Cheap,Defective switch

    I bought this toaster oven for a Christmas present in 2009, it came with a 2 year warranty but stopped working two weeks before Christmas.  I was unable to get any answers from Customer Service which bounced me from Sears to Kenmore to various products, after spending hours being transferred and left on hold, and emails were just more run-around, I finally gave up.  I bought this product believing Kenmore was a good manufacturer, but I am very displeased at this point.
